WHAT IS SALVATION, OR "BEING SAVED"?

Salvation simply means being in a right relationship with God by His grace.

Throughout the ages, what it means to have salvation, or to be saved, has sometimes been either over complicated or over simplified. This is definitely the most important area in all of Christianity to stay true to the Bible. Your eternal life depends on it!

5 Steps:

Step 1: Acknowledge: Confess your own personal sin and need for forgiveness.

Step 2: Repent: Commit to turn from and discontinue practicing all known sin.

Step 3: Believe: Accept God’s free gift of forgiveness that He bought for you on the cross.

Step 4: Receive: Ask The Holy Spirit to dwell in you and give you new life! (to be Born Again)

Step 5: Continue: Grow in faith through prayer, bible study, and Christian fellowship.

Related Scriptures:

Step 1: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

Step 2: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Step 3: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:7

Step 4: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:6-7

Step 5: These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13

Suggested Prayer:

"Father in Heaven, I acknowledge that I have lived a selfish and sinful life. I commit to turn from my own ways and will begin to follow Yours. Please forgive me and cleanse me of my sins by Your precious blood. Please fill me with your Spirit that I might be born again, to experience a new life now and throughout eternity! I commit to continue in Your Word and not turn back! Amen
